American League Central-Leading Chicago White Sox to be Featured in Consecutive MLB on TBS Sunday Telecasts

South Siders to Host New York Yankees and Joey Gallo, August 15, at 2 p.m. ET; Potential Postseason Preview vs. Tampa Bay Rays to Follow, August 22, at 1 p.m.

MLB on TBS live game coverage will showcase the American League Central-leading Chicago White Sox and reigning AL MVP Jose Abreu in consecutive weekends, starting with a match-up against the surging New York Yankees and trade deadline acquisition Joey Gallo, this Sunday, Aug. 15, at 2 p.m. ET.   Brian Anderson and Ron Darling will provide commentary from Chicago, and they will be joined in the booth by 16-year MLB veteran and three-time All-Star Curtis Granderson.  The TBS telecast will not be available locally in New York.



The White Sox will then take on a fellow first place team when they visit the AL East-leading Tampa Bay Rays and rookie sensation Wander Franco in a potential Postseason preview, Sunday, Aug. 22, at 1 p.m.  Anderson and Darling will call the action from Tropicana Field.  The Rays/White Sox game on TBS will not be available in the local Chicago market.

  • TBS will nationally showcase one Sunday afternoon game through the remainder of the 2021 MLB regular season
