MLB on TBS to Debut 2020 Regular Season Game Coverage Sunday, July 26

Defending World Series Champion Nationals to Host the Yankees this Sunday, July 26, at 1 p.m. ET

Network to Present Regular Season Sunday Afternoon Game Telecasts;

TBS to be Exclusive Home of the 2020 American League Postseason

 

MLB on TBS’s weekly 2020 regular season game coverage will debut this weekend when the defending World Series champion Washington Nationals and Juan Soto host the New York Yankees and Gleyber Torres, Sunday, July 26, at 1 p.m. ET.  Ernie Johnson and Jimmy Rollins will provide commentary for Yankees/Nationals.  The TBS telecast will not be available locally in the New York market.

TBS will then feature NL East rivals when the New York Mets and reigning Rookie of the Year Pete Alonso vs. the Atlanta Braves and Ronald Acuña, Jr., Sunday, Aug. 2, at 1 p.m.  The TBS game telecast will not be available in the Atlanta market.

Upcoming MLB on TBS telecasts will also include:

  • Sunday, Aug. 9: Atlanta Braves vs. Philadelphia Phillies at 1 p.m. ET (not available in either local market)
  • Sunday, Aug. 16: Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Los Angeles Angels at 4 p.m. (full national telecast)
  • Sunday, Aug. 23: New York Yankees vs. New York Mets at 1 p.m. (not available in the local NY market)

The network’s regular season coverage will feature a Sunday afternoon game telecast each week.

TBS will serve as the exclusive home of the 2020 American League Postseason, from the Wild Card through the American League Championship Series.
