NBA TV to Present NBA Draft Coverage with Live Pick-By-Pick Analysis & Post-Selection Interviews from 2017 NBA Draft Presented by State Farm in Brooklyn

Network to Provide Week-Long 2017 NBA Draft Coverage,
Including The Starters, Draft HQ, Mock Draft & NBA Draft Review

NBA TV will air coverage of the 2017 NBA Draft Presented by State Farm on Thursday, June 22, at 7 p.m. ET, with live pick-by-pick analysis throughout both rounds, post-selection interviews and on-site production from Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The network’s extensive panel of commentators in Brooklyn will include Kenny Smith, Steve Smith, Seth Davis, Scott Howard-Cooper and Bleacher Report “capologist” Eric Pincus. Casey Stern will host from Barclays Center, with Jared Greenberg reporting and The Starters’  Trey Kerby serving as a social media correspondent. The network’s coverage will also include live reports from Boston, Los Angeles and Philadelphia.

Coverage highlights include commercial-free analysis of the top 14 picks, historical features on top all-time selections and individual player vignettes, along with highlights and analysis as picks are conveyed. Panel commentary will focus highly on team building with an emphasis on roster construction – including free agency – along with long-term player forecasting and overall team outlook.

2017 NBA TV Draft Preview & Review
NBA TV’s coverage on Thursday will tip off with a two-hour preview show at 5 p.m., including interviews and live reports from the red carpet in Brooklyn, and studio coverage in Atlanta led by host Matt Winer and commentators David Aldridge, Stu Jackson, Brendan Haywood, and Auburn basketball coach Bruce Pearl.

Following the network’s live coverage from Brooklyn, 2017 NBA Draft Review will recap the draft with news, analysis and reflections on the night’s biggest moments at midnight.

NBA TV Draft HQ 2017
NBA TV Draft HQ on Monday, June 19, at 9 p.m. will feature four of the 2017 NBA Draft’s leading prospects joined by NBA TV analysts for interviews and on-court workouts: UCLA’s   Lonzo Ball   (with  Isiah Thomas ), Duke’s Jayson Tatum (with Grant Hill), Kentucky’s Malik Monk (with Scott) and De’Aaron Fox (with Sam Mitche ll).  Rick Kamla will host, with studio analysis provided by Mike Fratello, Jackson and Ronny Thompson.

Mock Draft
Mock Draft 2017 will simulate the first round complete with analysis of each proposed selection by Aldridge, Dennis Scott, Jackson and Sekou Smith on Wednesday, June 21, at 9 p.m. The hour-long show – with all four analysts rotating to make picks on behalf of teams – will be hosted by Greenberg.

The Starters 
J.E. Skeets, Tas Melas, Kerby and Leigh Ellis will recap the 2017 NBA Draft on Friday, June 23, at 7 p.m.

NBA Draft Review
Sekou Smith and Haywood will recap Thursday night’s biggest moments and offer the latest news and analysis following the 2017 NBA Draft on Friday, June 23, starting at 7:30 p.m.
