The Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic – a college basketball showcase actor and producer Michael B. Jordan has partnered with WME Sports, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), Scout Sports and Entertainment and Turner Sports to create – will spotlight four Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) men’s college basketball teams on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 1 p.m. ET, airing exclusively on TNT.

A matchup of HBCU men’s college basketball teams will tip-off with the North Carolina Central Eagles vs. Hampton Pirates, followed by the Howard Bison vs. North Carolina A&T Aggies. The doubleheader will be played at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

Stephanie Ready will provide play-by-play for the doubleheader alongside Grant Hill (analyst) and Taylor Rooks (reporter). Kevin Frazier will host pregame and halftime coverage with Renee Montgomery and Brendan Haywood.

In between the game action, TNT will showcase the “Bleacher Report Slam Dunk presented by HBO Max” – a live dunk contest featuring four high-flying social creators competing for bragging rights and monetary donations made to each of the four participating HBCUs.  Frazier, Haywood and Pierre Andresen will offer commentary for the dunk contest with Julius “Dr. J” Erving, Jordan and Montgomery as judges.

Additionally, TNT will highlight the cultural backdrop of HBCU life including a band showcase, live musical performance, HBCU student video features and more. TNT will also showcase the (recently announced) “NBA 2K Tournament” – that was comprised of 16 HBCU teams.
