TURNER’S ‘GOOD BEHAVIOR’ TNT ORIGINAL SERIES SNAPPED UP BY STAN AND SOHO IN ANZ

- Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery enters a dangerously captivating relationship in seductive new thriller -

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (November 14, 2016) – Fans of intense drama in Australia and New Zealand will be able to enjoy Turner’s latest TNT Original, Good Behavior, courtesy of video content platform, Stan Australia, and Sky New Zealand’s SoHo channel.

Starring Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery, the upcoming series casts her as the chaotic, petty criminal Letty Raines – one of the toughest, most challenging characters currently on screen. Good Behavior debuts on both providers with a two-hour premiere on November 16, with the content available to both partners at exactly the same time as the show’s premiere in the US.

The seductive thriller is created by Chad Hodge (Wayward Pines) and Blake Crouch (Wayward Pines) and is based on the books by Crouch. Juan Diego Botto (Ismael, El Greco), Terry Kinney (Oz, Show Me a Hero) and Lusia Strus (Wayward Pines, Cotton) star with the award-winning Dockery in the new drama.

Turner’s recent programming direction is part of an overall strategy to shift its offering of TNT dramas toward exciting, cinematic originals. Next year's slate includes Will, a raucous new drama that tells the wild story of young William Shakespeare, played by newcomer Laurie Davidson.

Meanwhile Turner’s other networks – truTV and TBS – provide a growing stable of original comedies including: I’m Sorry, Those Who Can’t and Search Party starring Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development). New animated series from Cartoon Network include: The Powerpuff Girls, Mighty Magiswords, Ben 10 and We Bare Bears. And for young-adult audiences, Adult Swim original content features Samurai Jack and the award-winning Robot Chicken.

More about Good Behavior:
Good Behavior tells the story of Letty Raines (Michelle Dockery, Downton Abbey), a thief and con-artist whose life is always one wrong turn or one bad decision from implosion. Fresh out of prison, Letty tries to stay afloat; reunite with her 10-year-old son; and show up for the mandatory check-ins with her parole officer.

Chaos returns to Letty's life when she overhears a hitman (Juan Diego Botto, Ismael, El Greco) being hired to kill a man's wife, and sets out to derail the job. She soon finds herself on a collision course with the killer, entangling both of them in a dangerously captivating relationship.

Good Behavior is executive-produced by writer/showrunner Chad Hodge and author Blake Crouch, along with executive producers Marty Adelstein (Aquarius, Prison Break, Teen Wolf) and Becky Clements (Aquarius, Last Man Standing) of Tomorrow Studios, a partnership between ITV Studios and Marty Adelstein. The pilot was directed by Charlotte Sieling.
