Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland backs Unacceptable for a second series on TLC ahead of Sunday’s premiere
2 JULY 2026 – London, UK – Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland has ordered a second series of brand-new comedy panel show Unacceptable for TLC, ahead of the first series launch this Sunday (5 July) at 9pm.
- Unacceptable is hosted by Ed Gamble, with Richard Ayoade and Joanne McNally as team captains.
- Produced by Ranga Bee Productions , the format sees two teams of comedians battle to win over a live studio audience with bold, outrageous and brilliantly questionable opinions.
- The format includes a live ‘swingometer’ to track the audience’s changing opinion, challenges to put the comedians’ arguments to the test, and a ‘stitch up round’ where comedians must defend unseen opinions written by the opposing team.
- Series one guests include Maisie Adam, Guz Khan, Joel Dommett, Katherine Ryan, Tom Davis and Executive Producer Romesh Ranganathan.
- Also appearing in series one are Alex Brooker, Lou Sanders, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Sarah Keyworth, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Rhys James, Suzi Ruffell, Harriet Kemsley, Chris McCausland, Geoff Norcott, Lucy Beaumont, Ivo Graham, Jessica Knappett, Roisin Conaty, Sophie Willan, Catherine Bohart and Vittorio Angelone.
- The expanded second series confirmed today will be an 8x60 run, including a Christmas special, and is set to air on TLC from November.
- Following the series premiere of Unacceptable on TLC at 9pm this Sunday (5 July), the final episode the Mock the Week: Summer Specials will air at 10pm.
- Both Unacceptable and Mock the Week: Summer Specials are available to stream on discovery+ following their broadcast.
