Michelle Durham serves as senior vice president of programming, planning and strategy for TNT, TBS and truTV where she oversees programming strategy for original and acquired content and the operational execution across the TNT, TBS and truTV portfolio.

In this role Durham sets and executes strategy for long and short-range content priorities to maximize sales and distribution and achieve budget goals for the network’s owned and operated platforms. This year she was integral in helping to fill 500 hours of lost programming due the pandemic. Her ability to manage an original content portfolio spanning live sports, daily variety shows, unscripted series and scripted drama and comedy, all while building coalitions with teams across the organization including development, production, finance, technology, marketing and distribution ensures successful execution across the networks. Durham is also responsible for spearheading programming stunts and driving windowing and content distribution strategy for owned properties and working with programming counterparts within WarnerMedia’s Studios and Networks Group to ensure corporate content and distribution initiatives are being accomplished.

In 2015 Durham joined WarnerMedia as vice president, programming and multi-platform strategy for truTV. Over the course of her four year tenure Durham oversaw content strategy, reshaped the multiplatform rollouts of current and library series on owned and operated platforms, and was a key player in the off-network distribution and windowing for marquee series such as “Impractical Jokers,” and “The Carbonaro Effect.”

Prior to her role at truTV Durham held positions at MTV Networks/Viacom and CBS. A native Arizonian, Durham began her career at KUAT-TV in Tucson, AZ. She received her undergrad from University of Arizona before attending the University of Ohio for a masters in telecommunications.

A graduate from Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Management Program, Durham serves as a mentor for the JHRTS (Junior Membership of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society) and is on the Turner Women board.
