NBA TV to Offer Complete Coverage of Highly Anticipated 2018 NBA Free Agency Period with All-Time High 21 Hours of Dedicated Programming

Free Agent Fever Telecasts to Include 3.5-Hour Show on Saturday, June 30, at 10 p.m. ET

& Expansive Studio Coverage Throughout the Day on Sunday, July 1

NBA TV will offer around-the-clock coverage of this year’s highly anticipated NBA free agency period with an all-time high 21 hours of dedicated free agency programming starting Thursday, June 28 and airing daily through Friday, July 6. The network will feature an expanded slate of live studio telecasts – including daily editions of Free Agent Fever, a live studio show utilizing a deep roster of commentators – as well as the network’s signature NBA GameTime program.

A wide range of commentators and reporters will contribute across the board, including David Griffin, David Aldridge, Isiah Thomas, Greg Anthony, Steve Smith, Dennis Scott, Sekou Smith, Mike Fratello, Brendan Haywood, Caron Butler, Billy King and Bleacher Report capologist Eric Pincus. Hosts will include Matt Winer, Casey Stern, Kristen Ledlow, Rick Kamla, Ros Gold-Onwude, Jared Greenberg and Chris Miles.

Free Agent Fever coverage will begin with half-hour preview shows on Thursday, June 28 and Friday, June 29, at 11 p.m. ET, followed by a 3.5-hour live show – timed around the start of free agency – on Saturday, June 30, at 10 p.m.

On the opening day of free agency – Sunday, July 1 – NBA TV’s live programming will include a Free Agent Fever episode at 8 a.m., regular updates throughout the morning, expansive live studio coverage from noon to 7 p.m. and a recap show at 11 p.m.

The network’s coverage will continue the next two days – Monday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 3 – with midday Free Agent Fever shows at noon, followed by two-hour shows from 5-7 p.m. on both days. In addition to live coverage from NBA Summer Leagues in Salt Lake City and Sacramento throughout the day, programming will conclude on both nights with NBA GameTime at 1 a.m. NBA TV will have three 30-minute shows on Wednesday, July 4 – at noon, 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.
