NBA TV to Showcase Over 30 Live Hours of Dedicated Free Agent Programming, Highlighted by 11 Hours of Daily Coverage on Sunday, June 30, and Monday, July 1

NBA TV will showcase more live coverage of the start of the NBA off-season than ever before, with the NBA Draft 2019 presented by State Farm and Free Agent Fever, providing fans all of the latest news, player moves and analysis in real time as teams build their rosters for the 2019-20 season and beyond.

The network will feature live pick-by-pick player evaluations throughout both rounds of the NBA Draft, in addition to roster analysis and offseason forecasts for all 30 teams, post-selection interviews and on-site production from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Thursday, June 20, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

NBA TV analysts in Brooklyn will include Tom Penn, Steve Smith, Brendan Haywood, Andy Katz and guests, along with post-draft analysis including insider Shams Charania. Casey Stern will host from Barclays Center, with Jared Greenberg reporting and Ro Parrish serving as a social media correspondent, where he will also get instant fan reaction to the selections. Kristen Ledlow will report from New Orleans, where the Pelicans possess the No. 1 overall pick, and Angel Gray will be in Atlanta, where the Hawks have two of the top 10 selections.

Draft night coverage will include commercial-free coverage of the top 14 picks, along with player highlights and a heavy focus on team building with an emphasis on roster construction – including free agency – along with long-term player forecasting and overall team outlook.

NBA TV will also offer around-the-clock coverage of this year’s highly anticipated NBA free agency period with over 30 hours of dedicated live free agency programming starting Thursday, June 27, and airing daily through Thursday, July 4. The network will feature an expanded slate of live studio telecasts – including daily editions of Free Agent Fever, a live studio show utilizing a deep roster of commentators – as well as the network’s signature NBA GameTime program.

Free Agent Fever coverage will begin with half-hour preview shows on Thursday, June 27, at 11 p.m., Friday, June 28, at midnight, and Saturday, June 29, at 11 p.m., followed by 11 hours of live programming timed around the start of free agency on Sunday, June 30, beginning at 3 p.m., and Monday, July 1, beginning at 8 a.m.

A wide range of commentators and reporters will contribute across the board, including Wes Wilcox, Grant Hill, Isiah Thomas, Smith, Haywood, Greg Anthony, Rex Chapman. Hosts will include Matt Winer, Stern, Ledlow, Greenberg, Rick Kamla and Parrish.

NBA TV Draft Preview & Review

NBA TV’s coverage on Thursday will tip off with a two-hour preview show at 5 p.m., including interviews and live reports from the Mtn Dew Green Carpet in Brooklyn, and studio coverage in Atlanta led by host Winer and commentators Jim Jackson, Bruce Pearl, Seth Davis and Wilcox.

Following the network’s live coverage from Brooklyn, NBA Draft 2019 Review will recap the draft with news, analysis and reflections on the night’s biggest moments at midnight.

NBA TV Draft HQ 2019

Draft week coverage will begin with NBA TV Draft HQ, featuring former NBA front office executives Penn, Wilcox, Thomas and Billy King joining host Rick Kamla for a roundtable discussion focused on how the draft is such an integral part of the year-round challenge of building out a competitive NBA roster, tonight at 9 p.m.

Mock Draft 2019

Mock Draft 2019 will simulate the first round complete with analysis of each proposed selection by Penn, King and Katz, tomorrow, Tuesday, June 18, at 8:30 p.m. The hour-long show – with all five analysts rotating to make picks on behalf of teams – will be hosted by Winer.

NBA Draft: Future Stars

On the eve of the NBA Draft, NBA TV will present interviews with a range of prospective selections on hand in New York City for the event. Smith and Greenberg will sit down with the players for the special airing Wednesday, June 19, at 9 p.m.

NBA Draft 2019: Next Steps

Jackson, Wilcox and Davis will provide analysis for the network’s NBA Draft review show with Winer hosting the 90-minute recap on Friday, June 21, at 8 p.m.

Free Agent Fever Daily Live Episodes, June 27-July 4

In addition to Free Agent Fever preview episodes on June 27-29 and 11 hours’ worth of coverage at the start of free agency on both June 30 and July 1, NBA TV will also air daily episodes on Tuesday, July 2 (Noon-7 p.m.), Wednesday, July 3 (Noon-3 p.m.) and Thursday, July 4 (11 p.m.).
