NBA TV will televise 17 live preseason games, giving fans an early opportunity to see many of the NBA’s new-look teams, top picks and leading stars in action, including appearances by the NBA Champion Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets.
The network's preseason schedule will tip off with the Celtics and Jayson Tatum facing the Nuggets with Nikola Jokic – part of The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024 series – from Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, on Friday, Oct. 4, at noon ET. Later that night the Lakers and LeBron James will host the Timberwolves and Anthony Edwards at 10:30 p.m.
The Celtics and Nuggets will meet again on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m., in the second leg of the series from Abu Dhabi. Later that night, NBA TV will feature the Knicks and Mikal Bridges visiting the Charlotte Hornets and Brandon Miller at 5 p.m.

Looking ahead to the regular season, NBA TV will forecast the races for Kia NBA MVP and Kia NBA Rookie of the Year tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively. The back-to-back half-hour shows will feature Chris Miles, Greg Anthony and Brendan Haywood.
The network will preview all 30 NBA teams throughout the preseason, starting Friday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m., with premiere episodes showcasing the Knicks, 76ers, Warriors, Mavericks, Lakers and Celtics. NBA TV is also the nightly home of NBA GameTime studio coverage.
NBA TV will televise 107 live games during the 2024-25 regular season with the league’s biggest stars and top teams in action. The network’s regular season schedule will start with a 2024 Kia NBA Tip-Off tripleheader on Saturday, Oct. 26. In the night’s first game, the Nuggets will host the LA Clippers at 5 p.m. ET, followed by the Orlando Magic visiting the Memphis Grizzlies at 8 p.m. The Lakers hosting the Sacramento Kings will cap off the night at 10:30 p.m.
