Rasheed Wallace to Join Kevin Garnett in Area 21 During Thursday Night’s Coverage
TNT’s New Players Only Franchise to Premiere Monday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m.
TNT will resume its NBA regular season doubleheader coverage tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 23, at 8 p.m. ET with the New York Knicks and Taco Bell Skills Challenge Champion Kristaps Porzingis visiting the Cleveland Cavaliers with All-Stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Kevin Harlan will call play-by-play alongside analyst Reggie Miller and reporter Kristen Ledlow.
In the night’s second game, the Golden State Warriors and All-Stars Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will host the LA Clippers with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan at 10:30 p.m. Marv Albert, analyst Chris Webber and reporter Ros Gold-Onwude will call the action.
The Sports Emmy Award-winning studio team of Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal will provide analysis during pregame, halftime and the award-winning postgame Inside the NBA studio show. Kevin Garnett will be joined by guest Rasheed Wallace to add commentary throughout the night from Area 21, with additional content running on social media.
The network’s regular season game schedule will continue Monday, Feb. 27 with the debut of Players Only – Milwaukee Bucks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers at 7 p.m., followed by the Indiana Pacers vs. Houston Rockets at 9:30 p.m. Former NBA and WNBA players will serve in all commentator roles throughout the five consecutive Monday doubleheaders, including hosts Brent Barry and Greg Anthony; analysts Kevin McHale, Richard Hamilton, Grant Hill and Derek Fisher; reporters Dennis Scott and Lisa Leslie; and the studio team of Chris Webber, Isiah Thomas and Baron Davis. Kevin Garnett will be joined by special guests in Area 21 throughout the franchise. The Cavs/Bucks telecast will not be available in the Cleveland market.
