TNT Sports Announces Commentators for 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs Presented by GEICO through First Round, Game 4s
Action to Continue Wednesday, April 22 with Game 3s of Penguins at Flyers (TNT, truTV & HBO Max) & Stars at Wild (TNT, truTV & HBO Max); Game 2 of Ducks at Oilers (TBS & HBO Max)
TNT Sports’ Stanley Cup Playoffs coverage will continue this week with a 14-game slate over five days beginning Wednesday, April 22. The Battle of Pennsylvania gets the night started at 7 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV and HBO Max as Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins take on Trevor Zegras and the Philadelphia Flyers. Kenny Albert will call the action with commentary from Brian Boucher and Jody Shelley.
Later at 9:30 p.m., the Kirill Kaprizov and the Minnesota Wild will take the ice against Jason Robertson and the Dallas Stars. John Forslund, Eddie Olczyk and Shane Hnidy will be on the call from Grand Casino Arena.
TBS will broadcast the final game of the night as Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers face off against Cutter Gauthier and the Anaheim Ducks at 10 p.m. Randy Hahn, Drew Remenda and Meaghan Mikkelson will call the game from Rogers Place.
TNT Sports’ networks will combine to televise a total of up to 49 games during the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Coverage will include expansive digital content and highlights from Bleacher Report, House of Highlights and B/R Open Ice all postseason long, featuring Q&As with the biggest stars on the ice and more. All pre, post and live game coverage will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Games will be preceded by a half-hour NHL on TNT Face Off Powered by Verizon pregame show. TNT Sports’ studio coverage throughout the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs will feature host Liam McHugh alongside a rotating collection of esteemed analysts, including hockey icon Wayne Gretzky, Vezina Trophy winner and 2023 Hockey Hall of Famer Henrik Lundqvist, 10-year NHL veteran Anson Carter, Calder Cup Champion Paul Bissonnette, and other special guests.
The studio team will also provide analysis and insights between periods during the Vanda Pharmaceuticals First Intermission Report, the Discover Second Intermission Report, and the NHL on TNT Postgame Show presented by Vanda Pharmaceuticals.
