Corie Henson serves as executive vice president, head of unscripted programming for TBS, TNT and truTV at WarnerMedia. In this role, Henson leads and oversees unscripted creative development and production for all three cable brands.

Joining WarnerMedia in December 2019, Henson is charged with expanding the linear networks’ unscripted offering and developing innovative, high-caliber programming that retains the distinct identify of each of the brand’s networks. During this unprecedented period, her leadership and creativity have allowed the networks to continue producing and airing new content for audiences while maintaining a safe environment for the cast and crews.

On TBS Henson oversees The Cube hosted by Dwayne Wade, a high-intensity game show based on a U.K. format, and 2021’s #1 new unscripted cable comedy Wipeout, a revival of the iconic extreme obstacle course series hosted by multifaceted mega star John Cena and Emmy-nominated comedian and actress Nicole Byer. Also under her purview is the extreme talent competition Go-Big Show hosted by popular comedian Bert Kreischer and starring celebrity judges Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Nettles, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and new this season Grammy Award-winning rapper T-Pain. The show features contestants showcasing their supersized talents in a battle for the finale’s ultimate $100,000 prize and season one was the network’s second strongest unscripted launch in the last 3 years.

Henson’s slate at TNT includes the docuseries Shaq Life, giving fans a look into the post-NBA season dealings of the four-time champion, and its companion program ShaqNight featuring O’Neal with a rotating line up of guests watching along with the audiences at home. And in development for the network is a true crime docuseries with Raw, the production company behind hit documentaries Don’t F*ck With Cats and Three Identical Strangers.

Henson is leading truTV series including Big Trick Energy, Double Cross with Blake Griffin and Fast Foodies. The shows pair perfectly with the network’s wildly popular Impractical Jokers, just renewed for a tenth season. Her team is responsible for the inventive Impractical Jokers: Dinner Party series, which allowed the Jokers to continue filming remotely, creating new episodes for viewers while the tentpole series was on hiatus.

Henson joined WarnerMedia Entertainment from Fox Broadcasting Company, where she served as Executive Vice President of Alternative Entertainment and oversaw all development and current franchises, including The Masked Singer, MasterChef and MasterChef Junior, So You Think You Can Dance, Hell’s Kitchen, Beat Shazam, and 24 Hours to Hell and Back, as well as the Teen Choice Awards, Fox’s New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey and all live event specials.

Prior to Fox, Henson was Executive Vice President of Unscripted Television at multi-platform studio Electus, where she oversaw such series as Running Wild with Bear Grylls for NBC, Breaking Greenville at truTV, and Southern Justice for the National Geographic Channel. She served as Vice President of Alternative Series for ABC Entertainment before that, overseeing Dancing with the Stars and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition as well as developing and launching critically acclaimed series Shark Tank and Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition.

Additionally, Henson has produced a wide variety of shows for broadcast, cable and daytime, including Big Brother (CBS), Grease: You’re the One That I Want (NBC), the syndicated talk show On Air with Ryan Seacrest (FOX) and The Secret Life of a Soccer Mom (TLC). Henson has also executive produced the Critics’ Choice Awards and earlier in her career, she oversaw much of the live red-carpet coverage for the major awards shows while at E! Entertainment Television. She began her career as a writer/producer of live news in both Los Angeles and Phoenix.
