NEW YORK, November 8, 2018 – Team Coco will debut Conan O’Brien’s first ever podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend on Monday, November 19 with guest Will Ferrell. In a partnership with Earwolf, Stitcher's comedy podcast network, O’Brien’s weekly podcast will run for 36 weeks and feature some of the biggest names in entertainment, music, comedy, literature and any individuals the longest tenured host in late night television is passionate about conversing with.

Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that. Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

“After 25 years of extensive market research we have learned that people want to hear my voice without seeing my face. So rejoice, America,” added O’Brien.

Beginning with Will Ferrell on November 19, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend will premiere as follows:

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend featuring Kristen Bell Monday, November 26

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend featuring Bill Burr Monday, December 3

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend featuring Dax Shepard Monday, December 10

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend featuring Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally Monday, December 17

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend featuring Wanda Sykes Monday, December 24

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend featuring Marc Maron Monday, December 31

All episodes of Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend can be found for free on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and Google Podcasts.

An extended trailer, which includes clips from some of the upcoming guests, is available at applepodcasts.com/teamcoco.

Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend launches while O’Brien is hitting the road on his live tour, Conan & Friends: An Evening of Stand-Up and Investment Tips. Team Coco is continuing to build on its joint venture with Turner, aggressively increasing its footprint in linear, digital and live formats by collaborating with a team of established and up and coming comics, adding comedy showcases, touring, specials and podcasts.

The multi-city tour and the Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast will allow O’Brien to reconnect and interact with his passionate fan base as he gears up for a leaner more agile 30 minute show on TBS premiering January 2019.  The new podcast and tour, like upcoming the new format gives O’Brien the flexibility to experiment and have fun with his audience in new ways.
