NBA TV’s Coverage of NBA All-Star 2025 to Include Live & Original Programming from San Francisco Bay Area Starting Friday, Feb. 14

Original Programming Highlighted by Basketball Stories: Bay Area Hoops, an Hour-Long Look at the Deep Connection Between Basketball and Region’s Culture & History 

 

Live Programming to Include Sunday’s NBA All-Star Postgame, NBA GameTime Live, NBA All-Star Practices & Media Availabilities, Hall of Fame Finalists & Legends Brunch 

 

NBA HBCU Classic Presented by AT&T Featuring Morehouse College & Tuskegee University to Tip Off Saturday, Feb. 15, at 5 p.m. ET 

 

NBA TV will be the destination for extensive coverage of NBA All-Star 2025, with live and original programming starting Friday, Feb. 14. Wall-to-wall live programming from San Francisco and Oakland will include NBA All-Star practices and media availabilities throughout the weekend, plus the latest news and analysis from a premier roster of commentators via the network’s signature studio show, NBA GameTime.  

 

With the 74th NBA All-Star game taking place in the San Francisco Bay Area, NBA TV will air a new special – Basketball Stories: Bay Area Hoops – on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m. Highlights from the hour-long piece will include Golden State’s superstar Stephen Curry and how his revolutionary impact on the game perfectly reflects the Bay Area’s culture of innovation and resilience, along with voices from other NBA stars such as Damian Lillard, Jason Kidd, Rick Barry and Gary Payton.  

 

The 4th NBA HBCU Classic presented by AT&T will tip off on Saturday, Feb. 15 with a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup between the Morehouse College and Tuskegee University men’s basketball teams at Oakland Arena. Simulcast coverage on NBA TV, truTV, Max and ESPN+ will begin at 5 p.m. with Brian Custer (play-by-play), Grant Hill (analyst) and Dennis Scott (reporter) calling the action. Courtney Hollman, a senior at the University of South Carolina, will be a special contributor as part of the TNT Sports Oscar Pope Lift Every Voice Fellowship throughout the weekend, including the NBA HBCU Classic.

Studio Shows 

NBA TV’s signature studio show, NBA GameTime, will be live on-site to provide the latest news and leading storylines daily throughout NBA All-Star 2025. On-site studio coverage will tip off Friday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., followed by Saturday, Feb. 15, at 10:30 p.m. The network’s coverage will feature basketball hall of famer Hill, Steve Smith and Jared Greenberg

 

Studio programming will continue with NBABet All-Star Sunday leading up to the game at 5 p.m. Chris Miles will host alongside Vince Goodwill, Tim Doyle and Sean Little.  

 

Rising Stars Practice  

NBA TV will have complete coverage of Friday’s 2025 Castrol NBA Rising Stars practice from 12:30-2 p.m., including commentators Candace Parker, Vince Carter, Lefkoe and Rooks.  

 

The basketball showcase will feature four teams comprised of 28 of the NBA’s and NBA G League’s best young talent, with Warriors legends Tim Hardaway, Sr., Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond plus Jeremy Lin (G League) serving as honorary head coaches. 

 

Hall of Fame Finalists Revealed 

The network will have live coverage of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Finalists Announcement – with host ScottFriday, Feb. 14, at 6 p.m. 

 

NBA All-Star Saturday  

The network’s live programming will include exclusive NBA All-Star Practice presented by AT&T coverage on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. Leading up to Saturday night’s festivities, the network will present commissioner Adam Silver’s media availability live at 7 p.m.  

 

NBA All-Star Postgame on Sunday 

Immediately following TNT’s coverage of the 74th NBA All-Star Game presented by Kia on Sunday, Feb. 16, fans can tune into NBA TV for comprehensive post-game coverage and analysis with on-site studio programming featuring four-time NBA Champion and Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, Carter, Jalen Rose and Lefkoe.  

 

Legends Awards 

NBA TV will also provide coverage of this year’s Legends Awards on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m.
