NBA on TNT American Express Road Show to Tip-Off NBA Opening Night from Denver on Tuesday, Oct. 24

Warner Bros. Discovery Sports will tip off its 40th consecutive year of NBA coverage on Tuesday, Oct. 24, with the return of the fan-focused NBA on TNT American Express Road Show in Denver, CO., home of the NBA Champion Denver Nuggets. 

Themed around TNT’s popular Sports Emmy Award-winning Inside the NBA, the free, day-long fan experience — which opens at 3 p.m. MT on the Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus — will feature musical performances by the GRAMMY® award-winning duo The Chainsmokers and Acclaimed Singer and Songwriter Dermot Kennedy. American Express Card Members will have access to a dedicated entrance and an opportunity to secure a spot in preferred viewing areas for the performances (space is limited and not guaranteed, terms apply). 

The NBA on TNT American Express Road Show will be anchored by TNT’s Inside the NBA studio team of Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Shaquille O’Neal providing live pregame, halftime, and postgame coverage from the venue. 

 Additional activations at the NBA on TNT American Express Road Show will include: 

• The prize-filled, Amex vending 'More Machine' – eligible fans can participate in sports-themed trivia questions for a chance to win fun prizes[i]; 

• A fan-focused version of the B/R Kicks Tunnel Cam where fans can capture footage of their fit and fancy footwear in a unique, engaging way to highlight all the best looks across B/R Kicks social platforms; 

• A custom mural that will celebrate the 2023 NBA Champion Nuggets and the NBA on TNT studio team, created by local artist Thomas “Detour” Evans; 

• A fan watch party for NBA on TNT’s live game coverage that evening; 

• Various fan competitions, including an NBA on TNT arcade and a half court skills challenge on the Bleacher Report basketball court; 

• Custom NBA on TNT Opening Night T-shirts, food, drinks, premium giveaways, and more. 

NBA on TNT will tip off the 2023-24 NBA regular season with a blockbuster NBA Opening Night doubleheader featuring the NBA Champion Nuggets and Nikola Jokic hosting the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James at 5:30 p.m. MT (7:30 p.m. ET). The Chainsmokers and Dermot Kennedy performances will begin following the end of this matchup. 

The night’s second game will feature a pair of new-look Western Conference teams with stars making their team debuts — the Golden State Warriors with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Chris Paul will host the Phoenix Suns led by Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal at 8 p.m. MT (10 p.m. ET). 

All WBD Sports’ NBA regular season and postseason games, as well as pre and postgame coverage, will also be available to stream via the B/R Sports Add-On tier on Max.
