Nuggets Face Timberwolves with Final NBA Playoff Spot on the Line

NBA TV will air tonight’s dramatic regular-season finale between the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves – with the final NBA Playoff spot decided by the outcome – at 8 p.m. ET. The game will also be available via NBA League Pass.

The two NBA Western Conference teams, led by Denver’s Nikola Jokic and Minnesota’s Karl-Anthony Towns, are tied with a 46-35 record entering the final regular-season game of the year. Tonight’s winner will clinch the eighth spot in the Western Conference and face the No. 1 seed Houston Rockets in the first round.

Tonight’s matchup between Denver and Minnesota marks the third time under the current playoff format (since 1983-84) that the winning team of a game on the final day of the regular season will make the playoffs and the losing team will be eliminated.
