Season two of THE OTHER TWO, the critically acclaimed comedy from MTV Entertainment Studios, debuts on its new home with two new episodes THURSDAY, AUGUST 26 on HBO Max. The ten-episode Max Original series continues with two new episodes weekly on September 2, September 9, and September 16, leading up to the final two episodes of the season on September 23.



THE OTHER TWO is created, written and executive produced by former SNL co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider and stars Drew Tarver (“Bajillion Dollar Propertie$”), Heléne Yorke (“HBO’s High Maintenance,” “Masters of Sex”), Case Walker, Ken Marino (“Party Down”) and Molly Shannon (HBO’s “The White Lotus,” “Divorce”). With their pop star brother, ChaseDreams (Case Walker), officially entering retirement at the ripe old age of fourteen, Brooke and Cary (Heléne Yorke and Drew Tarver) must now contend with a new famous family member: their 53-year-old mother Pat (Molly Shannon), and her eponymous daytime talk show. Humiliated at being The Other Two yet again, they double down and make it their mission not to be.



Recurring cast includes Brandon Scott Jones as “Curtis,” Gideon Glick as “Jess,” Josh Segarra as “Lance” and Wanda Sykes as “Shuli.” Guest stars include Ali Ahn, James Anderson, Justin Bartha, Jordana Brewster, Alessia Cara, Marcia DeBonis, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Ryan Farrell, Jimmy Fowlie, Noah Galvin, Zosia Mamet, Debi Mazar, Derek Peth, Alison Rich, Tuc Watkins, Bowen Yang and Ian Ziering.

Season 2, Episode 1: “Chase Goes to College”

Debut date: THURSDAY, AUGUST 26

With their little brother, ChaseDreams (Case Walker), officially retired and in college, Cary (Drew Tarver) and Brooke (Heléne Yorke) must contend with a new famous family member: their 53-year-old mother, Pat Dubek (Molly Shannon), who's now a wildly successful talk show host. While aspiring music manager Brooke desperately searches for the next pop sensation, Cary juggles a thousand random hosting gigs... and a new boyfriend (Gideon Glick).

Season 2, Episode 2: “Pat Connects with Her Fans”

Debut date: THURSDAY, AUGUST 26

While Brooke (Heléne Yorke) sets out to help her mother (Molly Shannon) connect with her many Pat-hungry fans, enviable new couple Cary (Drew Tarver) and Jess (Gideon Glick) show a young gay man and his daddy around New York City. Later, Chase (Case Walker) debuts a career-changing video destined to get the whole world talking.

Season 2, Episode 3: “Chase Guest-Edits Vogue” 

Debut date: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

At Vogue's highly anticipated unveiling of a splashy new celeb’s face and body, Brooke (Heléne Yorke) scrambles to enjoy the perks of being a manager, while Cary (Drew Tarver) leverages his D-list celebrity status for some quick cash.

Season 2, Episode 4: “Pat Hosts Just Another Regular Show” 

Debut date: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2

When Cary (Drew Tarver) heads upstate for a romantic getaway with Jess (Gideon Glick), a chance encounter with an old friend gives him a taste of the future. Back in the city, a newly rich and successful Brooke (Heléne Yorke) kicks off her search for the missing link – a boyfriend – by booking four hotties on her mom's (Molly Shannon) show.

Season 2, Episode 5: “Chase Gets Baptized”

Debut date: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

Chase's (Case Walker) baptism into a celebrity church – a beautiful rite of passage for any famous young boy – finds Brooke (Heléne Yorke) and Cary (Drew Tarver) struggling to also reap the benefits of this blessed new world. Meanwhile, Streeter (Ken Marino) does whatever it takes to remind his "kids" that he's the only "Father" they should be concerned with.

Season 2, Episode 6: “Pat Becomes #1 In Daytime”

In a desperate attempt to land a legit new agent, Cary (Drew Tarver) tries to rebrand himself as an actor-slash-writer. Meanwhile, Brooke (Heléne Yorke), at long last, lands something of her own – and in doing so, connects with someone from her past.
