TNT Sports Announces Commentators for 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs Presented by GEICO through First Round, Game 4s
Action to Continue Wednesday, April 24 at 10 p.m. ET with Kings vs. Oilers, Game 2 on TBS & Max
TNT Sports’ 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs coverage will continue with 14 First Round games over 5 days, beginning Wednesday, April 24 with Game 2 of the Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers at 10 p.m. ET on TBS and Max’s B/R Sports Add-On. Steve Mears will call the action with commentary from Colby Armstrong and Meaghan Mikkelson.
On Thursday, April 25, Stanley Cup Playoffs coverage will continue on TBS and Max with NHL on TBS Face Off Presented by Verizon pregame at 6:30 p.m., followed by a pivotal Game 3 in the Battle of Florida series – Florida Panthers at Tampa Bay Lightning at 7 p.m. Kenny Albert will be on the call with commentary from Brian Boucher and Jody Shelley.
TNT Sports’ networks and platforms will televise up to 49 games during the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs with expansive digital content and highlights from Bleacher Report, House of Highlights and B/R Open Ice all postseason long.
Live game coverage throughout the postseason will be preceded by a 30-minute NHL on TNT Face Off Presented by Verizon pregame hosted by Liam McHugh, alongside a rotating collection of esteemed analysts including hockey icon Wayne Gretzky, Vezina Trophy winner and 2023 Hockey Hall of Famer Henrik Lundqvist, 10-year NHL veteran Anson Carter, Calder Cup Champion Paul Bissonnette, among other special guests.
The studio team will also provide analysis and insights between periods during the Lexus First Intermission Report and the Discover Second Intermission Report, and the NHL on TNT Post Game Show.
