TNT Sports Announces Commentators for Second Round of 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs Presented by GEICO, through Saturday, May 9
NHL on TNT Face Off Powered by Verizon Pregame Coverage to Continue Wednesday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m. ET on TNT, truTV & HBO Max; Montreal Canadiens at Buffalo Sabres, Game 1 at 7 p.m., & Anaheim Ducks at Vegas Golden Knights, Game 2 at 9:30 p.m.
TNT Sports’ 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs coverage will feature seven Second Round games over four consecutive days starting Wednesday, May 6, with Game 1 of Nick Suzuki and the Montreal Canadiens visiting Tage Thompson and the Buffalo Sabres at 7 p.m. On the call from KeyBank Arena will be Brendan Burke, Shane Hnidy and Darren Pang.
Later at 9:30 p.m., Cutter Gauthier and the Anaheim Ducks visit Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights for Game 2 of the series. Kenny Albert, Eddie Olczyk and Brian Boucher will have the call from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
On Thursday, May 7, the playoffs action continues for NHL on TNT as Logan Stankoven and the Carolina Hurricanes travel to Philadelphia to take on Trevor Zegras and the Flyers for Game 3 of the series. Alex Faust, Jennifer Botterill and Colby Armstrong will call the action from Xfinity Mobile Arena.
The 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs coverage will include expansive digital content and highlights from Bleacher Report, House of Highlights and B/R Open Ice all postseason long, featuring Q&As with the biggest stars on the ice and more. All pre, post and live game coverage will also be available to stream on HBO Max.
Games will be preceded by a half-hour NHL on TNT Face Off Powered by Verizon pregame show. TNT Sports’ studio coverage throughout the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs will feature host Liam McHugh alongside a rotating collection of esteemed analysts, including hockey icon Wayne Gretzky, Vezina Trophy winner and 2023 Hockey Hall of Famer Henrik Lundqvist, 10-year NHL veteran Anson Carter, Calder Cup Champion Paul Bissonnette, and other special guests.
The studio team will also provide analysis and insights between periods during the Vanda Pharmaceuticals First Intermission Report, the Discover Second Intermission Report, and the NHL on TNT Postgame Show presented by Vanda Pharmaceuticals.
