NBA TV’s Preseason Coverage to Feature Eight Live Game Telecasts

Early Opportunities to See Prominent Stars in New Places Including John Wall,

Russell Westbrook, Chris Paul, Gordon Hayward & LaMelo Ball

  

NBA TV will televise eight live preseason games, giving fans an early opportunity to see many of the NBA’s new-look teams and top stars back in action, including appearances by the NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Houston Rockets, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, New Orleans Pelicans and Toronto Raptors.

 

NBA TV’s preseason schedule will tip off with the Rockets – including the anticipated preseason team debut of John Wall – against the Chicago Bulls and Zach LaVine on Friday, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. ET.  

 

Additional game highlights include:

 

  • Saturday, Dec. 12 – Gordon Hayward and LaMelo Ball are expected to make their debuts with the Charlotte Hornets against the Raptors and Kyle Lowry at 7 p.m.  The night’s second game – joined in progress – will feature the Suns and Chris Paul visiting the Utah Jazz at 9 p.m.

 

  • Sunday, Dec. 13 – The Nets – including Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving – will tip off their preseason schedule against the Wizards and Russell Westbrook at 6 p.m.

 

  • Monday, Dec. 14 – The Pelicans and Zion Williamson will face the Heat and Jimmy Butler at 7 p.m., followed by the Jazz hosting the Suns – joined in progress – at 9 p.m.

 

  • Wednesday, Dec. 16 – The Lakers and LeBron James will face the Suns and Paul at 9 p.m.

 

  • Saturday, Dec. 19 – Rising stars Trae Young and Ja Morant will square off when the Atlanta Hawks visit the Memphis Grizzlies at 8 p.m. 

 

The network will preview all 30 NBA teams throughout the preseason, including tonight, Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 9 p.m., with back-to-back premiere 30-minute episodes showcasing the Dallas Mavericks, Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves. NBA TV is also the nightly home of NBA GameTime studio coverage.

 

NBA TV will televise 107 live games during the 2020-21 regular season with the league’s biggest stars in action, highlighted by eight compelling matchups in three nights to tip off the season starting Saturday, Dec. 26, and a Martin Luther King Jr. Day doubleheader.
