NBA on TNT Doubleheader Coverage to be Anchored from CES in Las Vegas with Special One-Hour Pregame Show, Halftime Analysis & Inside the NBA Live on Site

This Week’s Game Lineup to Include Two of League’s Best Scorers in Action with Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook Facing Houston’s James Harden on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. ET

This Thursday’s NBA on TNT doubleheader coverage will feature a special live one-hour pregame show beginning at 7 p.m. ET, along with halftime analysis and the Inside the NBA postgame show, originating live from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.  The Sports Emmy Award-winning studio team of Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O’Neal will be on site to anchor TNT’s NBA coverage throughout the night.  Kevin Garnett will be joined by special guest and Hall of Famer Gary Payton to add commentary throughout the evening from Area 21.

Thursday’s slate of games will showcase two of the league’s top five scorers when the Oklahoma City Thunder and triple-double machine Russell Westbrook visit the Houston Rockets and James Harden at 8 p.m.  Marv Albert will provide play-by-play with analyst Brent Barry and reporter David Aldridge.  In the nightcap, the Lakers will make their third straight TNT Thursday appearance when they face the Portland Trail Blazers at 10:30 p.m.  Play-by-play announcer Kevin Harlan will be joined on the call by analyst Reggie Miller and reporter Dennis Scott.

On Thursday, Jan. 12, TNT’s doubleheader coverage will continue with the New York Knicks and Derrick Rose hosting Rose’s former team when the Chicago Bulls and Jimmy Butler come to Madison Square Garden at 8 p.m.  In the night’s second game, the Golden State Warriors and Kevin Durant will host the Detroit Pistons and Andre Drummond at 10:30 p.m.
