NBA Digital’s Art of the Triple Double Series Highlighted by This Week’s Interview with Legend Oscar Robertson

NBA TV’s upcoming live game action will feature four Western Conference teams vying for playoff position as the Oklahoma City Thunder and Russell Westbrook, currently averaging a triple double this season, host the Portland Trail Blazers and All-Star guards Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum on Fan Night, Tuesday, March 7, at 8 p.m. ET. The network will also provide live coverage of the Utah Jazz and All-Star Gordon Hayward visiting the new-look Sacramento Kings with recent addition Buddy Hield on Sunday, March 5, at 6 p.m.

Art of the Triple Double Interview with NBA Legend Oscar Robertson

The latest Art of the Triple Double vignette features an in-depth interview with Oscar Robertson as the only player in NBA history to average a season-long triple-double sits down with NBA.com writer Shaun Powell. Robertson discusses Westbrook’s pursuit of averaging a triple double this season, James Harden, and the current state of the NBA. NBA Inside Stuff to Hit the Road with the Golden State Warriors

This week’s NBA Inside Stuff – airing on Saturday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. – will take fans on a road trip with Golden State, going behind the scenes with reigning league MVP Stephen Curry and the star-studded Warriors team, including first reactions to Kevin Durant’s recent knee injury. The show – co-hosted by Kristen Ledlow and Grant Hill – will meet up with 19-year-old Boston Celtics rookie Jaylen Brown as he tours the Boston Harbor.  Inside Stuff will also look back at the NBA Cares Special Olympics Unified Basketball Game, which paired 12 Special Olympics athletes with NBA and WNBA players and legends for an exhibition game at NBA All-Star 2017. Jam Session will feature “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” by Dua Lipa

Beyond The Paint to Shine Light on Simmons College Basketball Program

NBA TV’s Beyond The Paint will visit the nation’s 107th Historically Black College, Simmons College in Louisville, Kentucky. NBA TV analyst Sekou Smith will offer a window into the school’s basketball programs and the coaches who are set on bringing them to prominence – former NBA players Alfred “Butch” Beard, Jr. and Jerry Eaves. NBA.com writer Scott Howard-Cooper, retired NBA All-Star Caron Butler and former NBA referee Bob Delaney will recap their visit with U.S. troops in Afghanistan. The show’s host Matt Winer will also look back on the 1986 film Hoosiers as it approaches the 30th anniversary of its release. Beyond The Paint will premiere Tuesday, March 7, at 11 p.m.

High Tops: Plays of the Month to Break Down Draymond Green’s Historic Triple Double

Host Brent Barry will bring fans through the NBA’s top 10 dunks, assists and defensive plays from February in an all-new episode of NBA TV’s popular High Tops: Plays of the Month, Saturday, March 4, at Noon. Barry will also look at the Warriors Green recording the first triple-double in NBA history with fewer than 10 points scored.

Additional Programming Highlights

10 Before Tip, the network’s half-hour show providing the latest news and perspectives from around the NBA before tip-off, will be televised live from MIT’s Sloan Sports Analytics Conference tomorrow, Friday March 3, at 6 p.m. The show will continue live from Philips Arena ahead of the Atlanta Hawks game against the Warriors on Monday, March 6. 10 Before Tip airs daily at 6:30 p.m.

NBA TV’s The Starters, the daily 30-minute studio show that recaps the most entertaining moments from around the NBA, is co-hosted by J.E. Skeets and Tas Melas, along with Trey Kerby and Leigh Ellis with new episodes airing regularly at 7 p.m.  On Wednesday, March 8, the show will feature a March Madness-themed Pick ‘Em Payoff.
