Turner Sports and CBS Sports Unveil Plans for 2018 NCAA March Madness Selection Show on TBS, Sunday, March 11, at 6 p.m. ET

Special Four-Hour March Madness Selection Countdown Preshow to Air Across Official March Madness Social Handles, Bleacher Report and NCAA.com, Beginning at 2 p.m.

CBS Sports and Turner Sports today announced plans for the 2018 NCAA March Madness Selection Show, featuring the exclusive live first-time announcement of the pairings for the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, on TBSSunday, March 11, at 6 p.m. ET.  The two-hour Selection Show, produced in partnership between Turner Sports and CBS Sports, will be televised in front of a live audience from a newly designed studio on Turner’s Atlanta campus for the first time.

The Selection Show will begin with the announcement of all 68 tournament teams, followed by the release of the brackets and match-ups, with analysis, discussion, interviews and reactions from teams as they find out if they made the “Dance,” along with their region, seeding and opponent. Hosts Ernie Johnson and Greg Gumbel will be joined by analysts Clark Kellogg, Charles Barkley, Seth Davis and Kenny Smith in Atlanta.  Selection Committee Chair Bruce Rasmussen will also join Adam Zucker from CBS Studios in New York.

Ahead of this year’s 2018 NCAA March Madness Selection Show, Turner Sports and CBS Sports will produce a special four-hour Social Madness social media preshow, running exclusively on official March Madness handles across YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, along with NCAA.com and Bleacher Report beginning at 2 p.m.

March Madness Selection Countdown will showcase fan-created content from schools and teams that have earned automatic bids to this year’s 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship via conference championships, in addition to those seeking at-large bids.  Andy Katz of NCAA.com will be joined by Steve Smith, Seth Davis, Brendan Haywood and Casey Stern, with the social media preshow running right up to the start of the Selection Show on TBS at 6 p.m.

The NCAA Selection Show will also be available on NCAA March Madness Live, the official live streaming product of March Madness available via digital devices.

For the eighth consecutive year, Turner Sports and CBS Sports will provide live coverage of all 67 games from the 2018 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship across four national television networks – TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV – and via NCAA March Madness Live.

TBS will televise this year’s NCAA Final Four National Semifinals on Saturday, March 31, along with the National Championship on Monday, April 2.

CBS will broadcast the NCAA Final Four National Semifinals, National Championship and Selection Show in 2019, with the events alternating between Turner and CBS each year throughout the partnership.
