TNT Sports to Televise Third Annual Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. ET

The third annual Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic – a celebration of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) highlighting basketball and culture – will air a men’s college basketball showcase featuring Grambling State University vs. Jackson State University and Hampton University vs. Howard University live on TNT and the B/R Sports Add-On on Max on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 1 p.m. ET.

The Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic, created by actor, producer and Newark native Michael B. Jordan, WME Sports (the sports division of WME, an Endeavor company), Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, and Scout Sports and Entertainment, a division of Horizon Media and TNT Sports, will feature an immersive day highlighting the HBCU experience on and off the court.

The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) will make its Invesco QQQ Legacy Classic debut when the dueling Tigers of Grambling State and Jackson State take the court at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Hampton Pirates and Howard Bison at 4 p.m. from Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

Michael Grady will provide play-by-play for the doubleheader alongside Grant Hill (analyst) and Stephanie Ready (reporter). Taylor Rooks will host pre, post and halftime coverage with Renee Montgomery, Isiah Thomas and other special guests.

As part of the celebration, each participating HBCU will bring its respective band – the Grambling State University Tiger Marching Band, the Jackson State University Sonic Boom of the South, the Hampton University Marching Force and the Howard University Showtime Marching Band – for a series of musical performances in between matchups. Actor and HBCU graduate Terrence J will emcee the performances.

The inaugural event in 2021 featured Delaware State University vs. North Carolina Central University and Howard University vs. North Carolina A&T State University with North Carolina Central and Howard winning, respectively. Last season, Morgan State University defeated Delaware State University and Norfolk State University triumphed over Hampton.
