TNT’s Players Only Franchise Returns Tonight, March 6, at 8 p.m. ET
Live Game Coverage to Feature Pacers & Paul George vs. Hornets & Kemba Walker at 8 p.m.;
Celtics & Isaiah Thomas vs. Clippers & Chris Paul at 10:30 p.m.
TNT’s innovative Players Only franchise – with former NBA and WNBA stars serving in all broadcast roles – will return tonight, Monday, March 6, at 8 p.m. ET, the second of the franchise’s five consecutive Monday doubleheaders on the network.
Monday’s doubleheader will feature the Players Only commentator team of Brent Barry (primary host/play-by-play), analysts Grant Hill, Derek Fisher and reporter Dennis Scott calling the game between the Indiana Pacers and Charlotte Hornets at 8 p.m. The night’s second game will include Greg Anthony (primary host/play-by-play), Kevin McHale, Richard “Rip” Hamilton and reporter Lisa Leslie on the call of Boston Celtics vs. LA Clippers at 10:30 p.m.
Chris Webber, Chris Bosh, Isiah Thomas and Baron Davis will provide studio analysis and commentary throughout each night of Players Only coverage via the Players Only Pregame Show presented by Autotrader; Players Only American Express Halftime Report and Players Only Postgame presented by KIA. They will take fans places they have never been to give the players only perspective, including on the team bus and in the locker room.
Segments from Area 21 with TNT analyst Kevin Garnett and this week’s guest Caron Butler will also be incorporated into the Players Only studio and game coverage throughout the evening.
Players Only will continue Monday, March 13, with Atlanta Hawks vs. San Antonio Spurs at 8 p.m. and Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets at 10:30 p.m.
TNT’s NBA programming lineup includes 64 regular season game telecasts, along with all of the premier events originating from NBA All-Star 2017 in New Orleans, and more NBA Playoff games than any other network. TNT will be the exclusive home of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals this year.
