Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Leads Off 50th Year of Baseball on TBS with Phillies-Yankees Interleague Showdown - Tuesday, April 4 at 7 p.m. ET

MLB on TBS Coverage to Feature Studio Team of Ernie Johnson & Lauren Shehadi as Hosts, Alongside Pedro Martinez, Jimmy Rollins & Curtis Granderson   

Brian Anderson & Bob Costas to Contribute as Play-by-Play Announcers, Ron Darling & Jeff Francoeur to Provide Game Analysis During Regular Season 


The 50th anniversary of baseball on Warner Bros. Discovery Sports' networks will lead off with a marquee interleague East division match-up on Tuesday, April 4 at 7 p.m. ET, featuring the 2022 National League pennant winners Philadelphia Phillies and their newly acquired shortstop Trea Turner traveling to take on the New York Yankees and 2022 American League MVP Aaron Judge.  

Bob Costas will provide play-by-play, alongside analysis by Ron Darling.

Game coverage on TBS throughout the season will begin with a 30-minute MLB on TBS Leadoff pregame show hosted by Ernie Johnson or Lauren Shehadi, featuring Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez, MVP & World Series Champion Jimmy Rollins and three-time All-Star Curtis Granderson, now in their fourth season together. The MLB on TBS Closer postgame show will wrap up each night's coverage with news, highlights, interviews and analysis from around baseball.

Entering its second season of Tuesday night coverage, TBS will televise 26 Tuesday night regular season games and will be the exclusive home of the 2023 NLDS and NLCS. Game selections for MLB on TBS Tuesday's first half of the season can be found here

Bleacher Report and its MLB-focused vertical, B/R Walk-Off, will provide round-the-clock coverage and original programming throughout the season including new live shows in the B/R app and batting practice Q&A's direct from the field of some of the season's biggest games.  

WBD Sports' live game coverage of baseball dates to 1973 when games were first televised on WTCG (now TBS). The partnership with MLB represents one of the longest-running relationships between a media company and league in the history of televised sports.
