Turner Sports and Reporter Allie LaForce Reach Multi-Year Agreement

LaForce to be Reporter for NBA on TNT’s Regular Season and Playoffs Coverage;
Will Continue to Contribute to NCAA Tournament Coverage, Among Other Responsibilities

Turner Sports has reached a multi-year agreement with Allie LaForce, who will be a reporter for NBA on TNT regular season and playoffs coverage as part of her expansive role. She will also continue as reporter for Turner Sports and CBS Sports’ exclusive coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. LaForce has previously contributed to NBA on TNT coverage on a part-time basis since 2015 and she first worked on March Madness in 2013.

“I’m so excited for the opportunity to fulfill my lifelong passion and dream of covering basketball for a living,” said LaForce.  “It’s been a privilege over the last few years to get a glimpse of the quality of the people and production at Turner and to now be considered part of this family full-time is really exciting.  I greatly look forward to my future here.”

As part of her multi-faceted position, LaForce will also host projects across the Turner portfolio – such as CNN specials tied to NBA All-Star and the NCAA Tournament – along with select shows on NBA TV.

“Allie has quickly established herself as one of the best reporters in our industry,” said Craig Barry, Chief Content Officer, Turner Sports.  “We’re thrilled to welcome her to the Turner family and believe this multi-faceted role will showcase her many talents.”

LaForce joins Turner from CBS, where she served as reporter for CBS Sports and CBS Sports Network’s college basketball and college football coverage since 2012. She was elevated to CBS Sports’ lead college football reporter in 2014.

LaForce began her broadcasting career with WOUB-FM, Ohio University’s flagship radio station. From 2010-11, she served as a sideline reporter at SportsTime Ohio for the Mid-American Conference (MAC) football season and men’s basketball tournament, as well as the 2011 OHSAA basketball championships.

In addition to graduating magna cum laude from the Ohio University Honors Tutorial College, LaForce was also a member of the school’s women’s basketball team for two years.
