PGA Championship’s Suite of Digital Products, Managed by Turner Sports, to Quadruple Amount of Video Content – Live & Real-Time Clips

PGA Championship LIVE’s Programming Highlighted by Complete-Round Coverage of Marquee Players via “Featured Group” Channels & Dedicated Coverage of Quail Hollow’s Signature “Green Mile”

Turner Sports and the PGA of America will offer a completely redesigned suite of digital products for the highly-anticipated 2017 PGA Championship – as Jordan Spieth attempts to win an historic career Grand Slam – focusing on broadened video integration and responsive optimization for mobile viewing. For this year’s 99th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, August 10-13, golf fans will have access to four times the amount of produced video content pieces than in the past, including live and real-time on-demand clips via PGAChampionship.com and the PGA Championship App.

Enhanced PGA Championship LIVE Video Player:

The PGA’s digital products were overhauled with the objective of delivering compelling content and programming across all platforms in a manner that best fits fans’ consumption patterns and lifestyle. In addition to live video, fans can keep up with all the action on the course via a considerably expanded catalog of real-time video highlights.

Redesigned Mobile Web & Leaderboard:

The PGA’s digital platforms, managed by Turner Sports, will offer comprehensive coverage of the PGA Championship, including expansive live streaming offerings via PGA Championship LIVE. The Sports Emmy Award-winning video experience will showcase the event’s top players via its Featured Group channels. Each day four marquee pairings will be selected for complete round coverage – two groups in the morning, followed by two more in the afternoon.

Special for this year, PGA Championship LIVE will debut dedicated live video coverage of “The Green Mile” – Quail Hollow’s trying three-hole finishing stretch – Thursday/Friday, Aug. 10-11, from 12:30 p.m.-7 p.m. ET and Saturday/Sunday, Aug. 12-13, from 1 p.m.-7 p.m. Fans will also have direct access to broadcast feeds of the tournament through PGA Championship’s digital platforms as well as via their participating TV provider apps. Daily programming will also include live media room interviews.
