Let Them All Talk

Alice Hughes is a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist who’s been invited to England to accept a prestigious literary award. Unable to fly, she invites her two best friends from college, Roberta and Susan, to join her on a journey across the pond by way of a magnificent ocean liner, bringing along her beloved nephew Tyler to keep an eye on the women throughout their travels. On a mission to extract details about her client’s heavily guarded manuscript-in-progress, Alice’s new agent Karen sneaks onto the ship, enlisting Tyler for intel on how best to approach his aunt. While Tyler finds himself falling for Karen, Alice and her friends are left to their own devices. Roberta resents Alice for ruining her life with her most celebrated book, Alice denies her part in Roberta’s undoing and tries to salvage their once sacred friendship, and Susan endeavors to help them all reconcile. As Alice struggles to complete her long-awaited manuscript and keeps her personal life shrouded in mystery, the women embark on a weeklong talkfest filled with memories, resentments, and banter.
