Accompanied by a soundtrack that evokes the essence of Mexican culture, the trailer offers a glimpse of key moments in this intense story, including the first meeting between Tita and her true love; an introduction to the oppressive matriarch of the family, Mamá Elena; and the kitchen, where passion and cooking intertwine, and Tita manifests strength and love through every dish she prepares. Leading the stellar cast of LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE is Irene Azuela as Mamá Elena, and Azul Guaita portraying Tita. Ana Valeria Becerril gives life to Rosaura, Tita's sister and rival in love, while Andrea Chaparro plays Gertrudis, the youngest sister. Andrés Baida plays Pedro Múzquiz, the object of Tita and Rosaura's affection; Ángeles Cruz plays Nacha, Tita's cook and mentor.
